About Phoenix B&K, your local building and bathroom team

Phoenix B&K was built around a simple idea: home improvement projects go more smoothly when one team is responsible for all of it. Instead of juggling a builder, a plumber, an electrician, a tiler and a decorator, our customers deal with one firm, one written quote and one point of contact from the first visit to the final walk-round.

Our in-house team brings decades of hands-on experience across building, plumbing and electrical work, as well as carpentry, plastering, tiling and decorating. Our electricians are NICEIC approved, so electrical work is carried out and certificated properly. For larger projects, we can connect you with trusted architects and structural engineers, and we deal with building control on your behalf.

We work for homeowners, landlords, developers and commercial property managers, on everything from a single bathroom to a full property renovation. Recent projects include bathroom installations in Brentwood and Feering, a kitchen installation in Panfield near Braintree, and a mezzanine, picture window and cladding project in Holt, Norfolk. You can see them on our projects page and read what our customers say.

How we work is just as important as what we do. We offer free consultations and clear written quotes, explain options honestly without pushing the most expensive one, and leave every home as tidy as we found it. Our blog shares the same straight advice we give in person, from choosing a bathroom fitter to EICRs for landlords.

We are based at 1 Tollesbury Road, Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Maldon, CM9 8UA, and cover towns and villages across Essex and Suffolk. Explore our services or call us on 01621 503579.
